China Steam Turbine Shaft Coupling for Power Plants

 

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

Steam turbine shaft coupling is used to connect each rotor of steam turbine unit, and pass the power of the turbine to the generator. There are mainly three types of couplings: rigid, semi flexible, and flexible. Large generator sets generally use rigid couplings, which have a simple structure, high connection stiffness, and large transmission torque.

 

The high and medium pressure rotors, low-pressure rotors, and generator rotors of the steam turbine unit shaft system are all rigidly connected. The couplings of the rotors are basically the same. The two flange faces of the coupling are forged together with their respective rotors. The two flange surfaces of the coupling are matched, and the bolts are tightened to ensure that the two rotors are concentric. According to the needs of rotor alignment, adjustment gaskets are set between the coupling flange faces to adjust the axial flow clearance of the turbine.
